I say all that to say, that as we all loyally follow along, Google creates more demand for its services. The latest trend in Social Media has Google clamoring for your social attention. Their latest tactic is to push up Google + links to the bottom of the home page, and Google + Pages are now getting priority in search results.

I fell in love with Google back in the early days when it was just a search box. I watched the seedling grow, and maybe even helped it along. At any rate, I remember the first time I saw that I could have a google email account. It was when I realized, the ultimate goal of any "online presence" is to grow and provide better services for the users who have helped it to grow.
