There are many "free" or Open Source E-Commerce solutions that are available. The reason why we promote our own shopping cart solution is because we ultimately have complete control over the coding and security of the application. Open Source solutions are great, but they are not for everyone. The commitment that you make when using an open source solution, is that you are now committed to installing any security updates in a timely fashion, once the Open Source developers release the update. Hopefully hackers won't find security holes before you get to the update. That being said, we are more than capable of designing a custom template for many of the Open Source E-Commerce Solutions available like; OS Commerce, Zen Cart, and others.
